In 1995, our founder, Jorge H. Henao, started a small coffee & bakery in northern New Jersey, offering high quality coffees and gluten free baked goods to the local community. We were passionate about both the freshly ground coffee we roasted, as well as the delicious array of hand-made baked goods we prepared right in our store.
A cafe favorite was our special creation – a warm, round bread with a unique combination of sweet and savory flavors, with a crisp golden brown outside and a soft chewy inside. At the request of customers, we started to package this creation, and Bagelinos were born.

Because we bake our Bagelinos bagels and buns with tapioca flour, they have always been and will always be naturally gluten-free. Knowing how important maintaining a gluten-free diet is for many of our consumers, we sought out and earned gluten-free certification from the Gluten Intolerance Group (GIG).
Twenty years after our founder opened his first cafe, Bagelinos are now prepared in a 10,000 square foot USDA/FDA licensed manufacturing facility that is certified gluten-free. Bagelinos are available online and in a growing number of U.S. markets across the US.
We continue to work hard to please our customers – with new flavors like Roasted Garlic, Coffee and Blueberry, and new formats like Bagelinos Buns! Try them all!
